Darlin Garcia is the founder and artistic director of Art In Motion Dance & Fitness, and the Art In Motion Latin Dance Company. Born in the Dominican Republic, this energetic dancer, performer, and instructor has gained recognition as one of the top male salsa dancers in the Philadelphia/NJ area. With over twenty two years of experience, Darlin Garcia has taught and performed locally, nationally and internationally in countries like China, France, Panama, Ireland, Trinidad, Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Japan, and the United Kingdom.

Darlin is the 2023 World Bachata Champion, and the 2021 World Salsa Champion. He and his partner Keila Perez-Vega placed 1st in the world in their Salsa on1 division and  1st in the Bachata Classic Division. Darlin holds several W​orld Champion titles in the Competition since 2013 in several divisions including Bachata Teams, Cha Cha Cha, Bachata Classic and more. Some of his other accomplishments include 3rd place in the 2006 ESPN World Salsa Championship. 

He is also featured in the How Philly Moves project where his image is displayed, alongside other talented artists, in a mural located by the Philadelphia Airport. Over the course of his career, he has developed creative techniques as illustrated in his sizzling and up-tempo choreographies.

Darlin's passion in life is to share his gift of dancing with people of all ages, levels and backgrounds. He believes that anyone with a willing attitude can learn how to dance, even if they claim to have two left feet.  He recently moved his dance studio from Philadelphia to New Jersey, in hopes to serve the community and bring Latin Dance & Fitness to the South Jersey area.  Art in Motion Dance & Fitness, which is located at 5360 Route 42, Turnersville, NJ is a place where all people can come learn, move, grow and express themselves through dance.

David Rowe began his Latin Dance career in 2012. Under World Champion Darlin Garcia at the Art in Motion Dance Studio, now located in Turnersville New Jersey. Since 2013 David Rowe has obtained countless Amateur and Pro-Am world title in the Just Dance Category for Salsa and Bachata at The World Salsa Summit located in Miami Florida. David Rowe has also obtain regional title in Toronto, Connecticut, DC, Pittsburg, and Philadelphia. David Rowe is also the Third Member of the Art In Motion Pro-team, and holds the Team Pro-Am Bachata title three years running at the Global Salsa Summit.

Kiera Perry- Kiera started her dance career at the age of 5. Kiera recieved her dance education at Fit to Dance Studio where she was a member of their Elite Dance Company. Kiera has participated in numerous competitions and brought home many 1st place awards and titles including, Premier Miss NexStar 2021. She’s competed on the stage at Fine Arts Nationals for 3 years and was ranked top 10 in the country. Kiera has been trained in ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, modern, contemporary, and lyrical.  Kiera is currently pursuing her degree in dance at Rowan. Kiera brings her joy of dance to all of her classes. She loves teaching dance and seeing her students develop in their talents. She possess a special ability to teach dance technique while making it fun. Kiera is excited to be a part of the AIM family!

Sam is a Professional Hip Hop Choreographer, Professional Dancer  & Professional Dance instructor whos proficiency is Hip Hop / Urban Dance. Samuel Chisholm aka INFerno has performed and toured the United States with musical acts with appearances on Broadway, television & various musical endeavors . As an instructor at 10 performing arts academies, & founder of the” L3GACY” (Urban Dance Company) in 2014. Samuel is known for his ability to facilitate the growth of  young entertainers and give universal insight into the world that is Urban Dance. ​

Ginnie has a background in Early Childhood Education and over the years has taught performing arts to ages 3- adults. She has experience on stage as a performer , but also as choreographer, director and writer. Growing up in and around theatre, music, and dance has created a beautiful love of creativity and she is  excited to share that love with the AIM Family.

Kathy started dancing ballet, hip hop, and jazz at the age of 9.  In 1999, Kathy officially took latin dance classes with Cultural Explosion Dance Company.  During her time there, shes entered into competitions and did several performances.  Kathy found her niche as a fashion designer for a company called M Hidary, which was a licensing company.  She had the swim licenses for Disney, Barbie, Maui and Sun, as well as Amy buyer.  Her swimwear was featured in a few fashion magazines, such as Teen magazine, W, and Woman Wear Daily.  During her time pursuing her fashion design career, she had children and gained unwanted weight.  ZUMBA was her answer!  Kathy attained her ZUMBA license in 2008.  She began teaching in local fitness centers like the YMCA.  After teaching for 7 years, Kathy found a home at Art In Motion in 2021.  AIM has given her the opportunityy to do the two things she loves the most; teach ZUMBA and make costumes for teams!
